We provide additional support
Students participating in Avenues Education retain enrolment in their school of origin. Students are not enrolled with Avenues Education. Their enrolled school is responsible for the day to day and ongoing support of the student (during face to face and remote learning). The support provided by Avenues Education is additional to the support provided by the school/setting the student is enrolled in.
Individual students referred to Avenues Education by ICYMHS will
- Be under the care of ICYMHS and are referred because their learning has been interrupted due to social, emotional, and/or mental health difficulties
- Be enrolled in primary or secondary school and retain enrolment in their school/setting of origin
- Need signed consent of the parent/carer (and student where appropriate)
